Allison Cerven is a Financial Planner at Cornerstone Financial Group, LLC. Before joining Cornerstone, Allison held positions on financial planning, tax, and compliance teams while serving as an officer at a large regional fee-only registered investment advisor. Allison is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and earned a bachelor’s degree in Family Finance, Housing and Policy from Iowa State University.

At Cornerstone, Allison serves clients by performing holistic financial planning and tax research and analysis. She is passionate about empowering individuals and families to confidently navigate their financial situations, enhancing client understanding by pairing fiduciary advice with ongoing support. Day-to-day, Allison supports Cornerstone’s clients by preparing detailed planning recommendations and coordinating with clients to implement agreed strategies. She additionally supports the firm’s regulatory compliance program.

Allison lives in southwest Iowa where her husband Jon, together with his father, operates a family farm. When not spending time with her family in Iowa, Allison is often on a video chat with – or planning a trip to visit – her nephew in England. She enjoys baking, and can regularly be found dreaming up home improvement projects.
