Reuben Brauer is a Partner and Senior Financial Planner at Cornerstone Financial Group, LLC. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Reuben held several leadership roles at a large regional registered investment advisor and trust company. In his most recent role as Senior Vice President, Reuben was responsible for overseeing a team that managed over $500 million in client investments.

Reuben is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and has earned his Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) and Master’s of Investment Management & Financial Analysis from Creighton University. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from the University of Nebraska – Omaha.

At Cornerstone, Reuben works directly with clients serving individuals and families who are looking for a collaborative relationship that provides independent guidance for their investments, retirement plan, taxes, and estate planning. Reuben’s greatest joy lies in using his expertise to come alongside clients’ and help them make decisions that improve their overall wellbeing.

Day-to-day, Reuben spends his time working directly with clients, developing plans for retirement, personalized investment portfolios, and tax minimization strategies. He also regularly seeks to expand the research and planning capabilities of the firm, as well as assisting in managing the various components of Cornerstone’s business operations.

Originally from Omaha, Reuben now lives in Denver with his wife Ashley and his three young boys. They love spending time exploring the many national parks in the Rocky Mountains as well as winter sports as a family. Reuben is also deeply committed to having an impact on his community through service and has held several roles in leading youth and adults at his local church.
